Cheekati Rajyam Postponed

Padmashri Kamal Haasan increased the gear and he is managing to release 4 films every year. With lot of movies lined up in the coming days he released Uttama Villan and Papanasam this year out of which Papanasam turned out to be a blockbuster all across Tamil Nadu. He has recently wrapped up the shoot of Cheekati Rajyam which has been titled as Thoongavanam in Tamil. Rajesh M Selva, a long time associate of Kamal is making his debut as director with this intense action thriller which has racy moments throughout the film.

Cheekati Rajyam has been shot in 45 days which has been inspired from a French film and Kamal will be seen as a cop in the movie. Prakash Raj, Trisha, Sampath Raj and Madhu Shalini played the other prominent roles in the film. The Tamil version of the movie is all set to hit the screens on November 10^th but the Telugu version has been delayed and will release on November 20^th. Kamal wanted enough space for the debutant Akhil whose film is releasing on November 11^th during Diwali and so he pushed out his movie from the race. Kamal produced Cheekati Rajyam on Raajkamal Films International banner and Ghibraan composed the music.
