Mahesh Adopts Two Villages

Superstar Mahesh Babu is on cloud nine after the release of his latest movie Srimanthudu. The movie released last week and is receiving exceptional response from the audience. Koratala Siva directed the movie and Sruthi Haasan played the female lead in the movie. The movie has already collected huge money in all the released territories and it has been declared as a blockbuster. The movie carried a strong social message of village adoption which touched the audience and after the release of the movie, Mahesh has decided to adopt his own village Burripalem along with a backward village from Mahbubnagar.

Mahesh revealed the news through his twitter saying “The #SmartVillage initiative lead by @ncbn garu prompted me to adopt my own village, Burripalem. This would not have happened without the support of my brother-in-law, @jaygalla, MP from Guntur. Very Humbled after receiving a congratulatory call on the success of Srimanthudu from Minister PR&RD @KTRTRS. He suggested I adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahbubnagar as part of their #GramaJyothi initiative. I said YES :) more details to be announced soon. Srimanthudu is a special film for many reasons :) Gained immense respect and love from all my fans... Made me more human :)”.
