Mahesh’s Srimanthudu Creates a New Record

Superstar Mahesh Babu who has terrific craze all over is currently shooting for his latest movie Srimanthudu which is in final stages of shoot. His previous movies 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu bombed at the box-office however Srimanthudu is making some terrific pre release business. His last movie Aagadu was a big disappointment however it collected Rs 7.5 crores at the US box-office.  Super hit movies like Manam grossed Rs 6.5 crores and Race Gurram minted Rs 6 crores at the US box-office. This proves that Mahesh will not have a debacle at overseas box-office.

 

As per the latest news, Srimanthudu overseas rights have been bagged by Classic Entertainments for a whopping price of Rs 8.1 crores which is huge for a telugu film till date. Koratala Siva is directing the movie which is said to be an action entertainer. Sruthi Haasan is the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director in the movie. Mythri Movie Makers are producing the movie and Srimanthudu has been slated for release on May 1st.
