Karthikeya collects 20 Crores

Nikhil is on cloud nine as his latest movie Karthikeya crossed 20 crore mark and this is his first movie to cross the mark. Karthikeya that has released on the eve of Diwali on October 24th has received superb word of mouth all over and the movie minted huge money at the box-office. As per the trade analysts the movie managed to collect 20 crores world wide within 20 days. Nikhil and Swathi played the main leads in this thriller and the movie has been directed by Chandu Mondeti who made his debut with this movie. The movie is about a mysterious temple that has been closed due to some unknown powers and it narrated how hero helps the village to know the truth and re opens the temple.

Nikhil and Swathi have paired up for the second time after a super hit Swamy Ra Ra and this time they have scored much bigger with Karthikeya. The film has right ingredients and the narration has been racy with sensible entertainment and melodious songs. Sekhar Chadra’s music and background score have been one of the assets for the film. Karthik Ghattamaneni’s cinematography is sure a visual treat for the audience. The movie has been produced by Venkata Srinivas on Magnus Prime Productions. Hope Karthikeya will collect more money and cross a new magical figure.
