Superstar Rajinikanth has been shooting for his next movie 2.0 which is said to be the costliest Indian movie under shoot. Shankar is directing the movie which is said to be the sequel for Robo. The actor is all set to wrap up the shoot of the movie by the end of April. Rajinikanth signed his next movie in the direction of PA Ranjith who directed Kabali in the past. The movie is said to be an action entertainer and it will start rolling from the mid of May.

As per the latest news, Rajinikanth will be seen as Sultan Mirza whose original name is Haji Mastan. Sultan Mirza is a cold-blooded underworld don based in Mumbai. Born in Tamil Nadu, Sultan Mirza moved to Mumbai at an early age and turned out to be a mafia don. Rajinikanth is all set to do the role on screen revealed sources. Vidya Balan is the female lead in the movie and Dhanush will produce the film on Wunderbar Films banner. This untitled movie will release during summer next year.
