Superstar Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his next movie titled Robo 2.0 which is the sequel for Robo. Shankar is directing the movie which is in final stages of shoot. Being made on a massive budget of Rs 350 crores, the film features Amy Jackson in the female lead’s role. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist in the film and the movie will have some power packed action episodes throughout. Rajinikanth is currently busy wrapping his part for the film and the first look of Robo 2.0 will be unveiled during November.

As per the latest news, the movie is said to have just one song and the song has been recently shot in exotic locales of  Ukraine. Sources say that the film’s album will have five songs but the film will feature just one romantic number. All the other songs are situational and they will travel with the story. AR Rahman is the music composer and Lyca Productions is producing Robo 2.0. The movie will hit the screens during the second half of 2017.
