Siddharth’s Jigarthanda gets a release date

Finally, drum roll please, Jigarthanda is set for August 1 release. The film is said to be releases in 250 screens across Tamil Nadu. Siddharth starrer was earlier postponed to avoid clash with Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan and later was postponed to prevent from colliding with Dhanush’s VIP. On August 1, Jigarthanda will clash with CV Kumar’s Sarabham starring newcomers Naveen Chandra and Salony Luthra in the lead. But it would be foolish to brush off Sarabham thanks to its slick trailer and producer CV Kumar’s reputation to deliver hits with fresh faces. We just hope that the director and actor’s of Jigarthanda at last gets a chance to showcase their product, for which the fans have been waiting for long. Hope there won’t be any further delays and it will be released on August 1st. The film has been dubbed into Telugu as ‘Chikkadu Dorakadu’.
