SIFAA supports Rajinikanth

The South Indian Film Artistes' Association [SIFAA] has backed Superstar Rajinikanth over the disappointing result of 'Lingaa' movie. For the past few days, distributors of Lingaa movie are demanding compensation for the huge losses  that were caused as the film bombed at box office.

The protests were increasing day by day on Rajini, so SIFAA stepped in to rescue and extended its complete support to the actor. Some of the distributors said that they were compensated earlier with Rajinikanth's 2002 release ‘Baba’ and 2008 release ‘Kuselan’  which were flops. In the same manner, they want to get back their money.

However, SIFAA released a statement which said, “a film's success or failure is decided by the audience. Film is no exception to business. Lingaa was expected to do well but the film did not do well. But it is not right to approach the hero of a film for losses. The distributors should discuss with the producer on this issue.”
