Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the most followed celebrities in India. His last movie Lingaa has received mixed word of mouth and the movie ended as a debacle at the box-office. Rajinikanth has been back to mainstream cinema after 4 years and the movie could not reach the expectations. The latest news is that Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth has been in financial losses and she could not repay the loan of Rs 20 crore back to Exim Bank. The bank has decided to auction the property of Rajinikanth in Kanchipuram.

 

Exim Bank has released an article to all the leading dailies about the auction which created a huge sensation all over. Media Global Entertainments owned by Latha Rajinikanth have released a press note saying that their company is in process of talks with the bank and the debts will be cleared soon. The production house also requested not to publish any articles regarding this including the names of Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth. They have also mentioned that the matter will be settled soon.
