My Son is Getting lot of Offers: Rahman

It’s already confirmed that A R Rahman’s son Ameen will make his singing debut with Mani Ratnam’s next film. The news has been officially confirmed by Rahman himself. The Mozart of Madras who is to perform a concert in Chennai on October 2nd. Speaking to a Leading daily, Rahman has confirmed that “ There have been lot of offers for my son and they want my son to be an actor. But my wish is to concentrate him on studies now. I want him to be private now. So as of now he will not be seen as an actor now”.

 

But Rahman has confirmed that his son Ameen will be singing for his next composition in the direction of Mani Ratnam. Ameen has been into news when he performed at the Chennai International Film Festival in 2012. More recently, he sung the NaNa number from Rahman's Hollywood project, Couples Retreat. Rahman revealed that his concert in Chennai would feature over 50 of his songs, spread over two-and-a-half hours. More updates soon.
