Soori Turns Cricketer for Vishnu’s Jeeva

It seems comedian Soori has turned cricketer for director Suseenthiran's Jeeva, a film based on cricket. While it is a known fact that actor Vishnu, a real-life sportsperson, plays a cricketer in the film, not many know that actor Soori too plays a cricketer. "Soori actually rose up to the occasion. He underwent rigorous cricket training for over three weeks to hone his batting and bowling skills. In fact, he was as good as any pace bowler after the training," says Vishnu.

 

Heaping praises on the comedian for making an effort to improve his game, Vishnu adds, "During a couple of batting sessions, he even suffered a few blows. Luckily, he didn't get injured. He had to negotiate bouncers and he did them convincingly”. The shoot of the film will start shortly.
