Happy Birthday Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar, is one man in Bollywood who has made it to the top all by himself. This heartthrob of millions celebrates his 47th birthday today. Akshay Kumar, born as Rajiv Bhatia was raised in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area before moving to Mumbai. He studied at Don Bosco School and then finished his graduation from Guru Nanak Khalsa College. After having obtained a black belt in Taekwondo he studied martial arts in Bangkok.

Akshay Kumar made his film debut with Pramod Chakravarthy’s Deedar. Slowly and steadily he went on to consolidate his position in Bollywood and was particularly famous for his stunts and action sequences. After doing some super hit action films, Akshay did a host of romantic and comedy films to prove his versatility. Akshay who is also known as Akki has married Twinkle Khanna, daughter of India’s first superstar Late Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Some of his best films include Khiladi, Sing is King, Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore. He will be soon seen as a undercover cop in his upcoming film ‘Baby’.
