Jagga Jasoos Analysis :
Jagga Jasoos is one film which has been impressive in each and every frame. Right from the start, Jagga Jasoos looks beautiful and presented well. However the movie looks dragged several times and the slow narration may not appeal to all the sections of the audience. However the brilliant performances along with the stupendous technical values makes Jagga Jasoos top notch. The perfect interval bang makes the first half engaging and entertaining.
The second half of the film too has been slow in pace and has strong emotional episodes. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif make the film connect emotionally with the audience because of their loud and subtle performances. The emotional bonding between a father and his son has been portrayed well on screen. The climax has been thoroughly entertaining and on the whole, the second half of Jagga Jasoos looks decent but it will sure not appeal to all the sections of audiences.
Jagga Jasoos Performance :
Ranbir Kapoor who is a brilliant actor and delivered out his best. He is a gem of an actor and he leads the race well with his exceptional performance throughout the movie. Jagga Jasoos can be watched for Ranbir Kapoor alone. Katrina Kaif delivered out her best with Jagga Jasoos and she has been perfect as a school teacher. Saswata Chatterjee as Professor Bagchi is excellent, Rajatava Chatterjee as police inspector and Saurabh Shukla as the antagonist are good. All other actors have been decent.
The story of Jagga Jasoos has been decent but it doesn't sound exceptional. The screenplay and the technical brilliance drives the film forward and makes it a treat for the audience. The dialogues have been impressive. The music and the background strikes hard. One should thank Ravi Varman for his stupendous cinematography. The production values have been stupendous and Anurag Basu makes no mistake except some dragged episodes and the slow pace.
Final Word:
Jagga Jasoos has Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina's best performances till date along with fresh music and stupendous narration. A decent one time watch.
