Meera (Sunny Leone) is a supermodel in London and she gets habitual of anti depressants from the day when she lost her parents in a plance crash. For a shoot, Leela comes to Rajasthan, India. Interestingly, 300 years before Meera was Leela a strangely hot local girl who becomes the obsession for a sculptor named Bhairav (Rahul Dev) and he decides to capture her beauty with a sculpture. In present, Karan (Jay Bhanushali) is a musician who has moved into his own apartment in Mumbai. After listening to a old record of a Rajasthani folk, Karan starts to get flashes from his past life and he decides to unravel this mystery. What happened with Leela and Shravan’s love story 300 years earlier is what makes the rest of the story.

The movie has a highly predictable plot and the first half itself has been dragged to a large extent. On the whole the first half has been boring and the interval has been a breather.

The second half of the movie too has lot of predictable scenes and the main plot has been completely deviated. Though the past and the present stories have been narrated with clarity the second half is a complete downfall.

Sunny Leone has been extremely hot on screen and she is a visual treat. However, in terms of action and performance, she needs to improve alot. Jay Bhanushali as Karan has been decent. Rahul Dev as Bhairav is outsanding. Rajneesh Duggal as Shravan is mediocre. All the other actors have been decent.

The story of the movie has nothing new to reveal and the screenplay along with the dialogues have not been handled well. The music has been passable and the cinematography has been good enough. The production values have been grand enough and the director failed in narrating the movie in an interesting way.

Final Word:

Ek Paheli Leela has nothing except Sunny Leone’s glamour show and for this you need not visit a plex. The movie fails completely because of its poor execution and narration.
