Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone may soon be seen together in a father-daughter role. According to reports, Deepika has been approached by Shoojit Sircar for 'Piku', which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan.

Apparently, Dippy is impressed with the script of the film and might take it up. However, she has not yet signed the film, reported a source from the actress.

The source suggested that at this point in her career Deepika is looking for strong roles and Shoojit’s 'Piku' is a character-driven father-daughter film.

Sircar has not confirmed his choice of actress for his next project. As of now, Sircar wants to discuss the script first with Amitabh and then take up the matter about the actress. However he confirmed that Bachchan and Irrfan were officially part of his next film.
