Super talented young director Krish has been receiving praises from all the corners of the country for his work in Gautamiputra Satakarni. The movie has been made on a tight budget and it has been wrapped in six months as planned. This periodic drama received exceptional response from the audience all over. The ace director is now one among the leading directors of South Indian cinema. Krish surprised everyone after he signed his next movie which is said to be a Bollywood movie titled Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Bollywood queen Kangna Ranaut has been roped in to play the title role in this periodic drama.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is said to be the lifestory of Rani Laxmibai which will start from Varanasi. The movie has been launched in Varanasi recently and the regular shoot of the film will start during the mid of June in Madhya Pradesh. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will be shot in various locations across the country. Zee Studios will bankroll the movie and Kangna is currently preparing for her role. Though it was Ketan Mehta who has been finalized to direct the movie, he has been replaced with Krish. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will release all over on April 27th next year. The movie will have huge dose of action episodes.
