Queen Remake Shelved: Tamannaah Shocked

Bollywood movie Queen has been a huge sensation in Indian cinema. The 2014 movie has been directed by Vikas Bahl and it features Kangna Ranaut in the title role. Rajkumar Rao and Lisa Haydon played the other prominent roles in the movie. Made on a budget of Rs 12 crores, the movie minted Rs 108 crores in its final run and it even bagged National Award as the Best Film. The movie is currently planned in South and it as been gearing up for shoot in Telugu and Tamil languages.

Tamannaah Bhatia has been locked to play the lead role in the movie and yesteryear actress Revathy has been assigned the responsibility to direct the movie. Suhasini Mani Ratnam is penning the dialogues and all of a sudden the movie has been shelved. The real reasons about calling it a quit are yet to be revealed and this left the lead actress Tamannaah in deep shock. The makers and Revathy along with Tamannaah have been unavailable to comment.
