Deepika Padukone proved her mettle in Indian cinema. She made her debut with Om Shanti Om and she emerged as one of the finest actresses of Indian cinema. Her hard hitting performance in the assigned roles after which she received Hollywood offers. Making no mistake, she signed her first Hollywood movie titled XXX: Return of the Xander Cage with Vin Diesel. The movie ended up as an average grosser.

As per the latest news, Deepika Padukone is in plans to continue signing Hollywood films and she is currently in search for the right scripts. Sources revealed that Vin Diesel too is considering Deepika Padukone as the female lead for his next movie and the film is almost in process of finalization. However an official confirmation is awaited. Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for her next movie titled Padmavati in the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
