It was talented director Apoorva Lakhia who has been out of limelight from sometime after the debacle of Zanjeer. He has taken huge gap for his next and has been preparing for the next film titled Haseena which happens to be the life story of Dawood Ibrahim’s Sister Haseena Parkar. After several steps of discussions, it was Sonakshi Sinha who signed the film however things changes apparently after the actress walked out of the project due to an undisclosed reason.

Apoorva Lakhia’s hunt for Haseena started again and now he has been successful in finding out the right choice for the role. Shraddha Kapoor has been quite excited after she listened to the script and she has taken an instant decision to essay the role. The actress who has been doing challenging roles decided to do the movie.

As per the latest news, Shraddha will be seen in a complete makeover for the film and the pre-production work of the film is on. The regular shoot of the movie will start from August this year and more details about the movie will be revealed soon.
