Akshay Kumar Replaces Saif Ali Khan

Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar has his own working style when it comes to movies. He wraps up films in quick succession and he manages to release 3-4 films in a year. He already came up with his first film this year titled Airlift and the movie ended up as a huge hit all over.

Raja Krishna Menon directed the film which has been based on the biggest evacuation that took place in Kuwait. The director received critical acclaim for his stupendous narration and flawless direction throughout. Akshay Kumar was even quite impressed with the work of Raja Krishna Menon.

He is gearing up to direct his second movie which is the remake of Hollywood super hit film Chef. The movie is currently busy with the pre-production work and Saif Ali Khan has been roped in initially to play the lead. Now the latest we hear is that Akshay Kumar replaced Saif Ali Khan in the movie.

Raja Krishna Menon shared a good timing with Akshay and so he is in plans to work with Akshay again. Even Akshay Kumar is quite happy to work the Airlift director once again. The original 2014 film Chef was written, produced and directed by Jon Favreau, featured Robert Downey Jr, Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson and Dustin Hoffman in the lead roles.
