Kahaani 2 On Cards

Talented actress Vidya Balan created huge sensation with Kahaani which is said to be a suspence thriller. The movie released in 2012 and ended up as the biggest hit of the year in Indian cinema. Kahaani has been the game changer in Bollywood and it made paths for many small budget films to be made. Vidya Balan won critical acclaim and she has been awarded the prestigious National Award for her stupendous performance in the film. Sujoy Ghosh directed and produced the film which has been set in the backdrop of Kolkata.

Kahaani has been made on a budget of Rs 7 crores and the film collected Rs 100 crores in its final run. Sujoy Ghosh left to UK some time ago to prepare the script of the sequel but the movie has been kept on hold due to unknown reasons. As per the latest news, Kahaani 2 is very much alive and the pre-production work of the film is in final stages. Vidya Balan will be seen in a stylish never seen avatar and she is currently preparing herself for the film. The complete film will be shot in Kolkata and is said to be a thriller. Sujosh Ghosh will produce the film along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures which will release for summer next year.
