Freida Pinto turns Producer

Freida Pinto who shot fame with an Oscar winning movie Slum Dog Millionaire has been stuck with Bollywood projects thereafter as she rarely got time for Indian movies. The Indian born has spent couple of years with Hollywood market. The latest news is that Freida Pinto has turned as producer and she will produce a couple of English films soon. Freida has been in India to launch the 'Girl Rising India' campaign which includes a documentary to spread awareness about girl’s education.

 

Meryl Streep,Anne Hathaway, Freida Pinto and Priyanka Chopra have lent their voices to the Hindi version of the documentary film. Freida Pinto is working on two mainstream English movies and both of them are women centric films which are planned to have a wide release in India. The first film will start shoot in March 2015. The pre production work of these movies are currently on and Freida Pinto acting in these movies has not been decided as of now. As per the update, both the movies will have releases in 2016.
