Shashi Kapoor admitted in Hospital

Bollywood veteran hero Shashi Kapoor has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital last evening after he complained of severe cough and breathlessness. According to Dr Ram Narain, Executive Director of the Hospital, the 76 year old actor has been diagnosed with a chest infection and is getting treatment in intensive care unit (ICU). The doctors confirmed that his condition is stable and they are treating with antibiotics.

This versatile actor has featured in almost in over 160 movies and he has won three National Awards. Shashi Kapoor who is best known for movies like ‘Deewar’, ‘Silsila’ and ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ was presented with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.
