BCCI Rubbishes Rumours about Dhoni’s Bio-pic

Contrary to reports that the BCCI(Board Of Control For Cricket In India) has objected to the film on the life and game of Ace Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Board in fact, says it has no interest in or concern about the film. Speaking exclusively to this writer Rajiv Shukla (senior member of the BCCI), said, "When have we ever interfered with what our cricketers do when they are not playing a match? All the major cricketers including Dhoni do so many ads, endorsing products. We do not interest ourselves in what the cricketers do when they are not playing cricket”.

Mr. Shukla says there is only one pre-condition to the Dhoni bio-pic. "It should not interfere with his matches. Beyond that, we have no say in this project”. With the imaginary hurdle from the BCCI cleared, the Dhoni bio-pic is all set to take off with Sushant Singh in the lead. Sources close to the proposed bio-pic's director Neeraj Pandey say that that reports of Dhoni asking for Rs. 40 crores for the filming rights of his story are pre-posterous. "Does Dhoni look like someone is so greedy for money? We are announcing all the details in the next two weeks," the source close to Pandey said.
