Superstar Mahesh Babu took a break after his last outing Brahmotsavam ended up as a massive debacle. The actor is shooting for his next movie titled Spyder. AR Murugadoss is directing the movie which is said to be a stylish action thriller. Rakul Preet Singh will be seen romancing the actor for the first time in his career. Mahesh will be seen as an intelligence officer and Rakul is playing a medico in Spyder. Made on a massive budget, the film missed many deadlines and failed to release on time. The shoot of the film is currently in final stages and is being shot in Chennai.

Spyder is being shot in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously and the makers are in plans to release the film in Hindi. There are lot of speculations about the film’s release however Mahesh along with his team is currently left confused about the film’s release date. Mahesh and AR Murugadoss will announce the release date only after they wrap up the entire shoot of the movie. Harris Jayraj is the music composer and NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu jointly produced the movie. Spyder is being made on a budget of Rs 120 crores.
