Rana Daggubati is one actor who is least bothered about commercial cinema. The actor has been signing different movies and he signed Ghazi which impressed him while scripting. Sankalp Reddy, a debutant directed the movie and Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Taapsee Pannu played the other crucial roles. Ghazi is said to be the first submarine movie made in the history of Indian cinema. Made on a budget of Rs 15 crores, the movie released all over in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.

The movie impressed the multiplex audience big time and it minted over Rs 27.1 crores in its final run across the globe. The satellite and the digital rights of the movie have been sold out for a massive price.
