The prestigious awards given for in the field of cinema by the Government of India, National Awards have been announced for the year 2014. Court has been awarded the best feature film and Vijay, a Kannada actor won the National award as Best Actor for his performance in Nanu Avanalla Avalu. Kangana Ranaut grabbed the Best Actress award for the movie Queen. Chandamama Kathalu won the Best Telugu film for the year 2014.
