Shruti Hassan not bothered with comparison to dad

Shruti Hassan is her father's daughter. Responding to rumors, she retorted that she has acting genes in her and anyone who says she cannot act are joking. Shruti has made it very clear that she can be a success even after having painful comparisons with dad.

When asked about how she handles criticism, particularly as a star daughter, she says she does not bother with the criticism and only dedication to work will result in success. Her debuts in both Bollywood and Tollywood were not successful, yet she bounced back with back to back successes in a few years.

Despite having to deal to constant comparisons and criticism, she has only maintained that, as a daughter of two actors, she will obviously have good acting skills. She says that when a film flops, her acting is criticized but the same is praised when a film is a hit.

So, Shruti takes criticism with the right spirit. She agrees that criticism will help her improve myself and that taking praises to heart will only go the head. Kamal Hassan's daughter will be seen next in Charan's Yevadu.
