But Sanju’s inability to pay the money for long time, irritates the goon and warns the former to pay back the money, by the end of the day, he warned.
In this situation, adding to his fate, his love interest Ammu (Anisha Ambrose) comes out of her house for Sanju. The rest of the story is how Sanju solved his issue with Vaddi Raja and came out of other clutches too.
Run Analysis :
Too many twists and turns in the Run movie, makes the audience engaged with the happenings on the screen. The interlinking of the characters with the main plot would be interesting. A decent comedy and enough twists, makes the first half of Run, a quality entertainer.
On the other hand, the second half has too many flaws, right from its start. You will feel fortunate for yourself, if your seat can take good air from AC, that is enough for you to take a comfortable nap. The tempo dropping at several places tests the patience of the audience in the theatre.
Run Performance :
Sundeep Kishan has given an outstanding performance for Run. The improvisation in the acting levels can be felt on the screen. Anisha Ambrose, on the other side, has nothing much to do, especially in the second half. Her on screen chemistry with Sundeep is purely a blunder. Brahmaji as Padmavati delivers hilarious comedy. Rest other characters have done a decent job.
Sai Karthik’s background score is a master piece and even a few of the songs are soothing. Dialogues are apt and production values are rich. The brilliance in camera work, made the movie appear lively and crisp.
Director Anil Kanneganti, could not bring out the essence of the original in the remake movie Run. But he still managed to make some changes to suit to the Telugu audience. The engaging screenplay even in the second half, as in the first half, would have made Run better.
Final word:
You need not run away from the theatre, at least up to the first half. I don’t know about the second half.
