Uttama Villain Analysis :

Uttama Villain Movie Review

The film starts on a slower pace and gets interesting at times because of the performances delivered. Though the plot has been interesting, the movie has done completely without any commercial elements taking part. On the whole the first half has some good and interesting scenes which make it just OK.

The second half of the movie has been boring and the film falls flat. The emotional content has been narrated in a low profile without entertainment which makes the audience irritated. The climax has been heart touching. Most of the scenes in the second half could not make any impact and they should have been chopped off. The run time of the movie is the major disadvantage for the film.

Uttama Villain Performance :

Kamal who already proved his skills delivered one more outstanding and commanding performance all over. His performance as an dying superstar is tremendous and will hold you emotionally. Heroines Andrea and Pooja Kumar look good in their respective roles and give decent support to the film. K Balachandar who played a prominent role has been perfect in the role of mentor and he brings a lot of depth. Jayram and Nassar have been simply superb with their roles. All others have been decent with the assigned roles.

The story of the movie has been quite interesting. The screenplay along with the dialogues have been old fashioned and lacked pace. The art of the movie has been superb and the sets of the film looked natural. The editing and the music have been decent and so is the cinematography. The production values have been rich and needed enough. Ramesh Aravind’s direction is the spoiler of the movie as it lacked pace and entertainment.

Final Word:

Uttama Villan is not a regular film and it lacks pace along with the much needed entertainment. The boring drama and the dragged scenes makes the audience disappointed. It can be ignored.
