Jil Movie Story

After the success of his film “Loukyam”, Gopichand came with Jil. The movie stars cute actress Rashi Khanna in the female lead role. Amidst lot of expectations, the movie has been released world wide this Friday, on March 27th. Prior the release of the film, Gopichand fans believed that the movie will surely take him to the next level, as he has been portrayed in a never seen stylish avatar with a new look. Lets see whether, the dreams of Gopichand fans have come true or not…….!

Jai (Gopichand) is a Fire Officer who leads his life happily with his family. Once, he comes across Savitri (Raashi Khanna) unexpectedly and falls in love with her. In a fire accident at a hotel, Jai saves Ranganath (Brahmaji) who gets severely hurt. In the last minute of his breath, Ranganath gives a coat and says “Good Day” in Jai’s ear and dies. At such circumstances, underworld don Chota Nayak comes into the picture and starts doubting Jai as he talks with Ranganath in his final seconds. Chota Nayak starts attacking everyone, around Jai and kidnaps Savitri to know about the secret of Ranganath.

Why does Chota Nayak attack Jai ? What is the secret that Chota Nayak wants to know from Jai ? Who is Ranganath ? What is the story behind him ? What does the word “Good Day” whispered by Ranganath in Jai’s ear mean ? How did Jai save Saavitri from Chota Nayak ? All these forms the rest of the story.

Jil Movie Analysis :

Jil Movie Review

First half of the film is decent with a lot of entertainment. The chemistry between Gopichand and Raashi Khanna is the most talked aspect after watching the film. The romance between the lead pair is surely a feast for the audience. However, a weak storyline is the major negative aspect of the film and there are no major twists in the film as it runs only around a single point. Also even though the first half is good, the second half gets boring and predictable as it has been dragged unnecessarily. Adding to the woes, even the climax part is not portrayed well and has been hurried up.

Debutante director Radha Krishna carved a niche for himself with stylish presentation to a mass film like ‘Jil’. He has executed the romantic track between the lead pair in an attractive manner.  All the songs by Ghibran look beautiful and are a added bonus to the film. His background score is pretty impressive. Shakti Saravan’s Cinematography is extraordinary and every frame appears to be an eye candy.

Fighting sequences designed by Anal Arasu are a treat to watch. Especially the rain sequence is worth mentioning here.

Jil Movie Performance :

Hero Gopichand forms the backbone of the film. He looks extremely stylish in the new avatar. He has a powerful role which he plays with a lot of ease as usual. Rashi Khanna is quite a revelation in the film and she was shown absolutely hot and raunchy. She looks gorgeous and oozes glamour to emerge as a biggest crowd pulling factor for the film. The baddie Kabir Singh (role of Chota Nayak) is terrific in his looks and is very promising, as he suits the character very well. Comedy by Prabhas Seenu, Uravasi and Posani Krishna Murali is sporadic with their terrific comic timing. Chalapathi Rao, Bharath, Srinivas Avasarala and rest of the cast have done their roles well.

Final Word:

The movie Jil will definitely remain as one of the finest outputs by Hero Gopichand. “Jil” is filled with lot of fire from Gopichand that makes the hearts of audience chill.
