Superstar Mahesh Babu pinned all his hopes on his next movie titled Spyder. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film’s shoot has been wrapped up except a song. Made on a budget of Rs 150 crores, Spyder marks the debut of Mahesh into Tamil. The actor himself is dubbing for his role and he will be seen essaying the role of an intelligence officer in Spyder. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Mahesh for the first time in the movie and she will be seen essaying the role of a medico in the movie. The last song of Spyder which is a romantic number will be shot in Romania during the last week of August with which the entire shoot will be wrapped up.

The post-production work of the movie is currently on and the makers are in plans to release the film during Dasara. Spyder will have a massive release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. The makers are closing the deals of all the areas and the movie is set to touch the mark of Rs 200 for the pre-release business in all the languages. Mahesh once again proved that he is the king of overseas. All his super hit movies minted massive money in the circles of overseas.

The overseas rights of Spyder have been sold out for a record breaking price of Rs 15.5 crores which is huge. The rights include the overseas rights for Telugu and Tamil versions. Top distributors Atmuz and AZ India acquired the rights for such massive price which is a record in overseas if we exclude the rates of Baahubali. Harris Jayraj is composing the music for Spyder and NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu are bankrolling the movie along with Reliance Entertainments. Mahesh pinned all his hopes on Spyder and the movie has been aimed for September 27th release all over during Dasara on September 27th.
