Telugu film director, producer, writer and actor Dasari Narayana Rao passed away yesterday due to illness in KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad. Born on May 14th 1942, Dasari Narayana Rao introduced many actors and technicians to Tollywood. He is one of the finest filmmakers who supported small films. Dasari Narayana Rao worked as a Central Minister for Congress. He holds a record in Guinness Book of World Records for directing 151 films in his career. He even produced 53 films in his film career. He has been survived by his son and two daughters.

Dasari Narayana Rao has been a milestone in Telugu cinema and he never stepped backward fighting for small films. The whole Tollywood has been left in deep shock with the sudden demise of the legendary filmmaker. Dasari Narayana Rao has been unwell from the past few months and he recovered completely recently. However he has been admitted recently back in KIMS after which his health worsened. The last rites of Dasari Narayana Rao will take place today. Rest in Peace to the legendary filmmaker.
