Is 2014 Lucky for Seniors: A Research

2014 should be told as a lucky year for Tollywood senior heros Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. These seniors could not deliver super hits at the box-office and it was in news that the seniors should be rested as audience stopped watching their films and at the same time small and upcoming actors scored huge hits at the box office. But 2014 has kept an end for these rumours and news as all the 3 actors scored some roaring hits.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Legend has made some mind blowing business at the box-office and the final theatrical run has been vast. Then comes Nagarjuna with his family muti-starrer Manam which attracted the multiplex audience hugely and it emerged as the biggest hit among their family films. Victory Venkatesh tested his luck with a remake Drishyam and his performance has minted huge money and is continuing its strong theatrical run. The film has been made on a limited budget and is expected to be a huge profit margin project for Suresh Productions.

The latest news is that Chiranjeevi who has been out of movies and joined politics will give a re-entry this year. The buzz is that Megastar has been listening to number of scripts and taking lot of care so that the re-entry should be grand and successful. With all his senior film mates tasting the success, now it’s the turn for Chiru to select the right script to impress the intelligent audience. With all the three seniors back with successful films, hope they come out with different flicks to shatter the box-office and keep an end for the unwanted criticizing mouths.
