Young actor Sumanth Ashwin has been introduced as the son of passionate filmmaker MS Raju with the movie Thuneega Thuneega which ended as disaster. However Sumanth Ashwin has received good applause for his performance which fetched him many offers. He scored decent hits with Anthaku Mundu Aa Taruvatha and Lovers which collected good money at the ticket window. He is currently shooting for Kerintha in the direction of Sai Kiran Adivi which is in final stages of shoot.

Star producer Dil Raju is producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. As per the latest news, Sumanth Ashwin has signed a new movie which has been titled as Columbus. The movie will be directed by Prakash who is making his debut as director with this movie. The movie is currently in initial stages and the regular shoot will start from May this year once Sumanth Ashwin wraps the shoot of Kerintha. More updates to be revealed soon.
