Swathi Signs a New Film

Actress Swathi who has wide recognition has scored hits in all the languages of South. She has impressed everyone with her performance and she has been selective with the script selection. She has scored two super hits with Nikhil in Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya which made her busy. She is currently shooting for couple of Tamil and Malayalam movies and Swathi has been approached for an important role in Nagarjuna’s latest movie Soggade Chinni Naayana, but she rejected the offer as she could not adjust her dates. As per the news, Swathi has signed a new Telugu film.

Anjali starrer Geethanjali was a shattering hit which has been released in 2014. This horror comedy has collected huge money and it has been made on a limited budget. Star writer Kona Venkat has produced the movie and Raj Kiran made his debut as director. As per the latest news, Swathi has been roped in for the sequel and she will play the lead role in this horror comedy film. Raj Kiran who directed Geethanjali will direct the movie and the film will be produced by Chinna Babu on Crazy Media Productions. Srinivas Reddy has been finalized to play the main lead in the movie and the shoot of the film will start from March.
