Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh 2 has been delayed many times and there have been so many rumors about the movie. News floated that the movie has been shelved and it became a sensation. However the makers have clarified that the movie will be started soon. Sampath Nandi has been removed from the project and after there have been news making rounds that Pawan himself will direct Gabbar Singh 2. But finally the makers have finalized the director now.

KS Ravindra (Bobby) who worked as a writer for various movies became a director with Ravi Teja’s Power which ended as a blockbuster. The latest update is Bobby has been opted out as the director and Pawan has been happy with Bobby and finalized him as the director for Gabbar Singh 2. The regular shoot of the movie will start from November and Bobby will direct the movie. Gabbar Singh 2 will be produced by Sharat Marar on North Star Productions banner. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music and Rakul Preet Singh will play the female lead in the film.
