Rajendra Prasad in a Tamil Remake

Actor Rajendra Prasad who has been a  popular hero is now doing interesting character roles. His recent roles in Gopichand’s Mogudu and Allu Arjun’s Julayi have brought him good recognition as a character artist. Now the news is that Rajendra Prasad has signed a new movie and he  will play the lead role in the yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil family drama Saivam. Krish Jagarlamudi will direct the remake, which is expected to go on floors soon.

Sources say that Rajendra Prasad has been roped in to play the main lead. He will play the role originally played by actor Nassar in the Tamil version.  Child artist Sara Arjun, who played an important role in Saivam, is likely to be retained for the Telugu version as well. "Sara will mostly be retained in the remake. She was so good in the original, and therefore, the makers are planning to go with her," says the sources. Rajendra Prasad is currently busy shooting for some films and Krish is busy shooting for Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar. The film will start once both of these complete their commitments.
