It was concluded that almost all the major cities employees are suffering from depression or general anxiety disorder. Delhi is the first ranked city which is preceded by other metro cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Pune.

The study stated that the depression rate has been increased to 45-50 percent in last eight years. Assocham Secretary General D S Rawat responded and predicted the reason for corporate employees to add pressure on their health could be to sustain in the stiff global environment. The other reasons for this condition could poor sleep habit, dependence of caffeine and tobacco, alcoholism and party culture, pollution, noise, working in shifts and more.
