Superstar Rajinikanth has been on a break from the past few months due to ill health and the movie Robo 2.0 has been kept on hold. The movie unit has been eagerly waiting for the comeback of Superstar. Rajinikanth returned back to the shoot recently and the makers are canning some crucial episodes in Chennai. As per the latest news, the climax portions of the movie have been wrapped up recently.
Shankar revealed that two thirds of the shoot of Robo 2.0 has been wrapped up and the movie completed 150 days of shoot already. Rajinikanth will shoot for his part in the coming schedules and the entire principle shoot will be wrapped up by December. With huge dose of VFX, the release will take place during the second half of 2017. Amy Jackson is the female lead and Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist. Lyca Productions are producing the movie.
