Revathi’s Directorial Confirmed

Talented veteran actress Revathi impressed the audience with her performance in many movies during the late 90s. She faded away as a heroine after which she has done character oriented roles. She recently made her comeback with Loafer starring Varuntej and Disha Patani. Puri Jagannadh directed the film and Revathi played a crucial role in the film which impressed the audience.

Revathi has been in trials to make her debut as director from sometime but nothing has been finalized. However after a long time, the news has been confirmed and she will remake the Hindi blockbuster Queen which created a huge sensation all over. Kangana Ranaut played the lead role in the movie directed by Vikas Bahl.

Revathi is currently working on the script and another veteran actress Suhasini Manirathnam will pen the dialogues for the film. Though the lead actress has not been confirmed, sources say that Nayanathara will play the lead role.

The movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The regular shoot of this untitled film will start from October this year. Famous producer Thyagarajan will produce the movie. More details to be revealed soon.
