Kollywood's much-loved pair of Kamal Hassan and Simran might return to the big screens for the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit 'Drishyam'.
Buzz is that the makers of the film are keen to rope in Simran and has expressed the same to Kamal Hassan, who too have given it a nod.
However, Simran is yet to take up the role that was originally essayed by Meena.
Kamal Hassan and Simran, who had previously teamed up for films like 'Pammal K Sambandham' and 'Panchathanthiram', have stirred the gossip columns previously over their alleged affair. The rumors came to an end after the actress got hitched to Deepak Bagga.
The original 'Drishyam' starring Mohanlal and Meena in the leads, is about how an impasse hits a happy family and how they deal with it forms the crux of the intriguing story.
Jeethu Joseph, who had directed Drishyam in Malayalam, will be at the helm of the Tamil remake as well.
