Masss (Suriya) is a fun going young guy who cheats people in an unusual way with the help of his friends. He suffers major injuries in an accident and post the accident some really surprising incidents start taking place. This is the time he meets Malini (Nayanathara) and falls in love with her. As time passes by, a number of dead souls keep haunting Masss with whom he communicates to exploit them for his personal gains. The rest of the movie is about the spirit and how they are related to each other. Watch the film to know about the rest.

The first half of the movie has been interesting from the start however the movie dips down because of its slow narration. The movie gets interesting at parts but on the whole except the interesting plot, the first half has nothing much to do.
 
The second half of the movie too has some dips however the flash back episodes of the film have been completely interesting. The movie has been interesting at parts and runs on an interesting pace. On the whole the second half has been ok and entertaining.

Suriya who is known for his terrific mannerism has delivered an outstanding performance as an actor in both the roles. He has been ultra stylish in the film and performed the characters with ease. Nayanathara has been stunning on screen and she has done a decent job with her performance in the movie. All the other actors have delivered out their best.

The story of the film has been quite unique and interesting. The screenplay and the narration have not been engaging which makes the movie below average. The cinematography has been decent throughout and the music of the movie has been just average. The background score of the movie has been decent and the production values have been rich enough. Though the director has selected a terrific script, he failed in narrating it in an engaging way.

Final Word:

Masss has some decent performances and interesting episodes. However the poor screenplay and narration makes the film fall down. Strictly for Suriya’s fans.
