Actor Vijay has been having trouble every time his movie is set to release recently. The star actor's upcoming film 'Kaththi' directed by AR Murugadoss has also been at the receiving end, which is to hit the screens for Diwali. First the movie was facing protests from various groups due to the alleged connection between the producers and Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapaksa.

While the buzz was that the producers of the film could be changed due to the protests, the production company Lyca Productions seems to have disagreed to step down as the producers of the film. Ilayathalapathy Vijay is said to be planning to meet the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha very soon to seek protection for the audio launch of 'Kaththi', which is to happen at a Star Hotel in the city on September 18th.

The latest setback to hit film is that a person has filed case that the story is a violation of his copyright. The individual seems to have has filed a complaint against director AR Murugadoss regarding the same.
