Actress Abhinaya has just completed a few days shoot for the Hindi film, Shamitabh directed by Balki. She plays a prominent role in the film, which has Dhanush, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan in the lead.

Confirming the news, Abhinaya's father Anand Varma says, "She shot with Dhanush and Akshara recently in Mumbai. She is essaying a very crucial role in it. We came to know that she got selected due to her performance in Tamil films. She has completed a few days of shoot for the film and will again resume shooting for a song with Dhanush in the coming weeks."

Abhinaya is also working on Vishal-starrer Poojai and Jayam Raja's Thani Oruvan, and two more films, Piravi and Melathalam. We hear that she is playing the role of a scientist in Jayam Raja's film and Vishal's murai ponnu in Poojai.
