Uttama Villain shoot ends with a Song

The shoot of Uttama Villain, which has been going on for the last few months, has come to an end. The team, which wrapped up the shoot yesterday in Chennai, we hear, shot a song at the Chennai Film Institute. A source close to the unit, says, "The team shot a song featuring Kamal last night. This will be part of the eighth century sequence. Also, a special set was created for this song."  The film, directed by Ramesh Aravind, stars Kamal in dual roles -an eighth century drama actor and a 21st century cinema superstar. Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Parvathy Menon and Jayaram, among others are part of this massive project.

The source adds, "The climax portion will be the highlight of the film. A massive palace set was created for the historical sequence”. Director Ramesh Aravind said, "I don't want to reveal the details. We've been shooting for five months now and it will be a great treat for the audience. It is the biggest film in my career and I am happy to debut as a director in Tamil with this project. The post production work has begun and we are almost through with the dubbing”.
