Rajinikanth’s Robo 2 Latest News

Superstar Rajinikanth has registered a path breaking hit with Robo in the direction of Shankar which was the highest South Indian grosser during those days. The stunning visual effects along with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai’s performance are said to be the highlights of the movie. Rajini could not score such big hit post Robo and he is currently shooting for his next movie Kabali in the direction of Ranjith PA which started rolling from September 17^th. Rajini will soon wrap up the shoot and the latest we hear that he will join the sets of Robo 2.

Shankar who has tasted his first debacle with I early this year is working on the script of Robo 2 from sometime. Rajini has given his nod for the sequel and the script work of the movie is in final stages. The movie will be launched officially on December 12^th on the eve of Rajini’s birthday. Srinivas Mohan who worked for Robo and Baahubali has been roped in for the visual effects and AR Rahman will compose the music. The regular shoot of Robo 2 will start from January next year and Lyca Productions who earlier producer Vijay’s Kaththi will produce the movie in Tamil and Telugu languages.
