Suriya to produce his next film

It has been already in news that Suriya will be acting under the direction of Vikram Kumar of Manam fame (Telugu film). The latest news is that this movie will be a home production from Suriya himself. Vikram Kumar has made an impact in Tollywood with back to back hits Ishq and Manam. It was also rumoured that he will be directing Nagarjuna’s son Akhil’s debut film post the success of Manam, but his next project was confirmed with Suriya. Vikram Kumar has directed several films like Istam (Telugu) and 13 B (Bi-lingual) but Ishq and Manam brought him fame and success. Vikram Kumar also won a national award for the film ‘Silent Scream’ for Best Educational/Motivational/Instructional Film. Suriya is currently busy with the promotion of Anjaan. Samantha is playing the female lead in this film which is set to hit the screens on August 14th.
