Karthi Turns Producer

It’s a new trend for the leading actors to start their production houses and produce their films. Though this has been familiar in Bollywood, this is now trending in Telugu and Tamil film industries. Tamil actors Vishal, Suriya and Dhanush have already been producing movies on regular basis. The latest one to enter the league is Karthi. He has a huge following in Tamil and Telugu film industries. He has scored massive hits in Tamil recently and is currently shooting for his upcoming movie Kashmora and he will be seen playing dual roles in the movie.

The movie started shooting in June and the movie is being directed by Gokul. This is his third film after Rowthiram and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. Kashmora is being produced by Karthi himself on Prince Productions which will mark his debut as producer. The movie will have Nayanathara and Sridivya in the female leads. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music for the movie and Kashmora will complete all the formalities and will release in December this year. Karthi is also shooting for an untitled movie with Nagarjuna which is said to be a bilingual directed by Vamsi Paidipally.
