Shankar’s I Censor Controversy

Shankar’s latest movie I has completed shoot long back but the release of the film has been delayed because of the extensive post production work. The movie has now completed all the formalities and is gearing up for release during Sankranthi. The Telugu audio of the movie has been launched recently and the Hindi trailer has been launched. As per the latest news, the movie has been censored in Tamil Nadu and it has received U/A certificate. Director Shankar wanted clean U certificate for the movie as there is tax exemption for the film.

After regional censors, Shankar has approached the revising committee but received the same result from the censor committee as they have awarded U/A certificate. The latest update is that Shankar and his team has gone to Delhi to the Censor Board HQ to get U ceritificate. Let’s wait to see the result of the censor certificate for the movie. Vikram and Amy Jackson played the main leads in I and AR Rahman composed the music. Aascar Ravichandran produced the movie on Aascar Films banner. I has been slated for a huge release on January 14^th all over the world in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi launguages.
